Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) & Annual Training Reports

We design Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Reports for our Clients.

A Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) is preceded by a skills audit and a gap analysis. This is then compared with your industry critical skills. Thereafter a comprehensive Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) is crafted and submitted to the relevant SETA.

Annual Training Reports (ATR) are submitted together with the WSP. For B-BBEE purposes, failure to submit the WSP and ATR will result in no points scored under the Skills Development element irrespective of the training conducted.

We conduct Learnerships and Internships for clients

What is a learnership?
  • A learnership is a formal learning programme that links theoretical learning with structured workplace experience. Learnerships typically take place over the course of 12 months.
  • Learnerships provide opportunities for learners – both employed and unemployed – to gain vocationally relevant experience in occupations for which there is an identified demand.
  • A person who successfully completes a Learnership will be able to demonstrate the practical application of competencies (skills, knowledge, values, and attitudes) in an employment context.
  • Upon completion of the learnership, learners are assessed and certified as competent at a level comparable to that of people already employed in the same field.

The following criteria for a Learnership are set out in the Skills Development Act. A Learnership must:

  • Consist of a structured learning component,
  • Include practical work experience,
  • Be governed by an agreement between the learner, employer, and accredited training provider,
  • Lead to a qualification registered on the NQF and relate to an occupation and
  • Include job rotation, on-going mentorship, and assessment to fully support the learner.

Skills Program Training

Skills program training is an occupation-based learning program aimed at building skills of economic value, incorporating at least one-unit standard. The time frame for skills programmes are designed according to the needs and are conducted over a few weeks depending on the program. These vocational courses are outcome-based and allow individuals to gain a more thorough understanding of the industry and workplace that they are entering.

Skills/ Mandatory Grant Application
We apply for grants on behalf of clients to SETA and assist clients with tax rebates applications or implementation.
